Co-founded MySocialCloud with programmer Shiv Prakash and her brother Scott Ferreira
At the age of 18, Stacey pitched an idea to create a social media site – MySocialCloud.com – to billionaire and entrepreneur Richard Branson. Branson gave Stacey one million dollars to bring her idea to life. The company was soon acquired by Reputation.com, at which point Stacey decided to complete her college degree and attend NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
After MySocialCloud.com, Stacey co-authored 2 Billion Under 20: How Millennials Are Breaking Down Age Barriers & Changing the World. Through 2 Billion Under 20, Stacey was awarded a 2015 Thiel fellowship, and won a $100,000 grant from the Thiel Foundation. Stacey is now the CEO and co-founder of Forge, a company working to create a new social contract between employees and employers. Through Forge, Stacy was selected as one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 in 2016.
When she is not working hard at Forge, Stacey travels around the world to speak about Entrepreneurship and building companies.Back To Ambassadors
